I live in the California Bay Area, but I'm investing in St. Louis, MO. I lived in St. Louis for 10 years, so I know many of the neighborhoods. I am very excited to have now closed on my first buy and hold rental in the Dogtown area of St. Louis. My plan is to continue to invest in single family and small multi-family rentals, with the goal of reaching financial freedom within 10-15 years. For my next property, I plan to implement the BRRRR strategy, so at that point, I'll be looking for contractors in the St. Louis area. My short-term goal is to buy this next property by the middle of 2019.
