Hi! My name is Miguel Garcia and I currently reside in Stockton, Ca with my beautiful wife Michelle and our 5 kids; Alexandria 25, Miguel III (Tre) 21, Dominic 11, Mirielle 3 and Peter Xander 1. I have always been intrigued with real estate investing. I've read a bunch of real estate books years ago by Robert Kiyosaki and other real estate investors. I've went to the "free" real estate classes in hotel meeting rooms but never pulled the trigger on an actual purchase. I have self diagnosed the reason as being analysis paralysis. lol Fast forward to the present... My wife and I commute and work a ton of hours in our current positions. On 1/5/17 we welcomed our families newest edition, Mirielle, to the world and it has lit a major fire in me. It is time for me to put my fears to the side, utilize my education and leadership skills and get in the game. I am looking to purchase my first property in the Stockton, Ca area in the immediate future. I am hoping to network with people currently in and out of my area and ask a ton of questions along the way. Experience: I currently own a home and I've taken real estate classes but that is the extent of my experience in real estate. I have my Bachelors in Business and I am a Operations General Manager for a large retail company so I do have experience in spreadsheets, P & L's, and budgets. Real Estate Goals: Purchase my first income property, whether a flip or Brrr by April 2017 and to purchase two additional properties by the end of 2017. Currently Seeking: I am new to the Stockton area so I need as much advice on investing in this area as possible. I am also looking to network with private lenders, contractors and agents in my area.
