I started buying real estate in the late 70's in upstate New York in a small town of 40,000 people. I have purchased rental properties, two mobile home parks, 6 single family homes, several fix and flip houses and a condo in Virginia Beach a 10 minute walk to the beach as my vacation home. I stopped buying RE around 2003 because I was discussed at what people wanted for thier properties. Then the RE bubble burst and certainly didn't buy then. Now I'm moving to VB for good and will be purchasing RE as a career. I read that Virginia is a trust deed state so I have to educate myself on purchasing RE there on both foreclosures and fix and flip RE. Looking forward to it. I should have my home here in NY sold by July and make the move hopefully before summer ends. I finally move to Portsmouth, Virginia. I purchased a HUD foreclosure, rehadded it and moved in in February. I decided to get a real estate license and for my first year here I will be concentrating on listing and selling peoples' properties. I will be prospecting for investor type fix and flip properties both SFH and Multi family dwellings, and retail properties. I have my license with 1st Class Real Estate. I will be posting for sale properties here on BP Market place those properties worth looking at for an Investor.
