My wife and I live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. I work for a major airline in Georgia. A few years ago, the thought of placing all of my retirement plans into the hands of strangers in New York began to scare the hell out of me. I've decided to make the commitment to learn real estate investment. My goal is to achieve 10%+ Cash-on-Cash returns for the long term. My goal for 2016-2020 is to acquire a few Buy and Holds, learn the business, and make great networking connections and friends. I expect my first acquisition in my local market (Atlanta) to occur in 2016.
