My wife and I both work full time for fortune 50 corporation. We get killed with taxes. We own our primary home free and clear, also own a vacation rental which pays for itself. I am a licensed real estate agent in MA and RI. I'm 48 years old and looking for a way to transition out of Corp life into a real estate investing career. I have cash funds to support the purchase and renovation of 2 projects at a time. I am constantly looking at many opportunities. I find the biggest challenge is finding deals. I have 20 years prior experience in Corp Accounting as a Controller and have good fundamental skills in deal analysis. My current source of deals is: MLS, REO, Foreclosure Auctions. Created a motivated seller web site and beginning direct mail campaigns.
