Mike Gennaro

I joined bigger pockets in 2013, listening to Josh and Brandon's podcast. My real estate journey has included owning numerous section 8 properties, sub-leasing in several mobile home parks, redeveloping a mobile home park in 2017, investing in duplexes, rehabbing and flipping single family investments and light industrial. In 2018, I joined a boutique commercial firm, Mike Falgoust & Associates Commercial Real Estate. The firm merged in 2019, becoming Derbes Falgoust Commercial Real Estate LLC. In 2020, I took a huge chance and became the first eXp Commercial LLC agent in Louisiana---a fully agent owned commercial tech platform. In May 2021, I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, an honor of a lifetime. I'm recently enrolled and plan to earn my masters in Real Estate from Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies Fall 2023. My big reason for investing in real estate is to build my business around my family life. My wife and I will continue to increase our passive income while nurturing our biggest asset, our family unit and our local communities. I love this stuff and love helping other active investors. Real estate is big enough for everyone to thrive. I don't hide secrets, I share everything I can to make others successful.
