Several years ago I purchased a duplex by simply assuming the mortgage. After 4 years of ownership and several renters, we sold the property to help finance our personal residence. We have our personal residence nearly paid off and would like to invest the extra income into a rental property and build from there. I am currently in the education phase of investing in realestate and looking for good sources of knowledge.
