im a newbie in Lafayette La. My education is. BS in Civil Engineering and several business classes at UL. I have been working in the construction industry for 23 years as the general manager of a ready mix concrete company. I have bought 2 older homes and renovated them to live in but blew my budget because we wanted the names for ourselves o live in long term. I'd love to find out how to pick the right properties and renovate them cost effectively to flip. I'm looking for a mentor and would like to connect with other real estate investors in south Louisiana. I have now been a real estate agent for 2 years and I study the market daily.I am happy to provide comparable sales to anyone interested in learning how to determine purchase and ARV Sales prices. I am studying to get my CCIM and can analyze commercial deals to calculate internal rate of return, figuring taxes and financing.
