Maurice Whittle

I would like to tell you a little about myself. For as long as I can remember, Real Estate has always been a passion of mine. As a kid, while my friends were playing football or basketball, I and a cousin of mine was building clubhouses (one clubhouse in particular was two floors high). At the age of 10, I would often go into abandoned houses in my neighborhood and just walk around observing how things were made, paying close attention to every detail. Real Estate was and still is my passion. For the last 25+ years, I have been in building maintenance (janitorial, environmental) as a worker, supervisor and contract manager. I moved to PA 3 years ago and worked 2 years at a facility until a recent layoff. I’ve been doing property preservation as a means of income until my break comes along in doing what I love most and that is fixing up homes. I currently work side-by-side with a rehab investor whose showing me the ropes and giving me the tools of the trade I need to go at “fix & flips” on my own. I am looking to make “fix & flips” my long term goal as an income generator so that I can improve my family’s quality of life as well as spend my time working on the passion that I have had since I was a child and making my son’s partners in MWhittle Properties. I am currently a Certified Home Inspector and moving full steam ahead with building my Real Estate portfolio with wholesale deals and “fix & flips”.
