I guess I started investing in 2010 (although I didn't realize it) when I bought my very first SFH in Orem, UT. Lived in it for 4 years, moved to the Big Island (Hawaii) in 2014, rented the Orem house out to family just to cover the mortgage. 2018 bought the house that I currently live in on Big Island. 2019, realized I just wanted more and instead of forcing myself to be satisfied with status quo (like I have always done) I asked myself "why not?" I Read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" discovered the power of real estate. 2020 closed on a 1 acre property in Keaau, HI with two 3/2 SFH's on it. I plan on doing a whole lot more and would love to connect with other Big Island investors.
