My wife (Ali) and I are Salt lake city real estate investors. We have been doing this unintentionally on the side in 2000 and started to realize we love doing it. Our first was a house hack in Seattle, WA that financially gave us the capital to start investing when we moved to SLC in 2009. Over the past 8 years we have bought 2 additional homes we have lived in while rehabbing and 3 duplexes and a 4 plex in the SLC area that we rehabbed and then have rented out all with + cash flow. In 2013 we bought a vacation property in park city, UT that we rehabbed and now rent through airbnb and vrbo which has done well. I have worked in landscaping and construction for over 15 years. My wife Ali, is actively involved in finding deals and manages the business/financial size of things. She is a working professional with a good W-2 so we make a good team. We are very interested in ramping up our real estate investing. We recently added another duplex and fourplex to our portfolio and excited to continue buy multifamily properties in Salt Lake City, UT.
