I am a Solo Lawyer focusing on Real Estate and Estate Planning. I currently have 8-10 rentals and 4-5 MH notes. I am in the process of re surveying a 4 unit town house complex to single units, so I can sell each unit separately if needed. I am also working on a commercial project for my family, a 10000 sq. ft, downtown building, which we have renovated to apartments and commercial space, updating a 60 yr. old sprinkle system. I am also interested in developing raw land to housing or mixed use. I also have experience with HUD rentals, having worked with HUD over 10 years. For a 1 bed room apt, HUD currently pays $625 per month (utilities included) This seems like a good niche because not a lot of landlords offer 1 bedroom apartments and it is fairly easy to build a one bedroom, even off an existing property you own, such as a garage or attic.
