I grew up preferring to be under the car w my dad rather than in the kitchen with Mom. It taught me the value of a good tool and that there’s no such thing as, “girls can’t”. So, in my mid-twenties, I renovated my first house using the aid of library books and 3 munchkins constantly at my knee. The rehab bug was born! In 2006, I got my real estate license; to get “an edge” on the flipping business but instead, I became a Realtor® helping other buyers & sellers in the Arlington/Mansfield area. I occasionally bought & rehabbed properties for myself but it was more like a hobby. In late 2018, I stopped representing the public to focus on growing my investment business. 2020 is the tipping point! I have a Mentor, working capital, backing, skills and an invaluable education! I currently have one project nearing completion in April & I own 5 cash-flowing rental properties. I am looking for Single-Family homes, Duplexes to Quads, & Mobile Homes on land. I prefer Tarrant & northern parts of Johnson County but I am interested in “transitioning areas” of Dallas. I’m open to partnerships w other like-minded investors who have a desire to put out an honest, quality product. (Ethics & people matter to me more than the bottom line.) My dream is to delve into small apartments, and building, from the ground up, "handicap accessible" duplexes for long term rental income.
