I live in the Lehigh Valley of PA and was turned on to BP by a customer that spent some time speaking with me about the benefits of REI. I went to the site and got hooked! Experience: Currently, I have owned two homes that were SFRs that I resided in since 2001. I purchased our first investment property, a duplex, in 11-16. So far, that property is working out well with only a handful of manageable hiccups. I closed on my first bank owned SFH that I anticipate flipping by the end of July. I am also working on 2 more rentals (1 off market, 1 short sale...both in NJ) Real Estate Goals: Short term: We accomplished our goal of having 2 doors in 2016. For 2017, we want to purchase at least 5 doors and we are still open to flipping if we locate the right opportunity. (update 6-17..we're working on the rehab for our first flip right now) Long term: Between 2016 and 2021, we eventually want to have enough passive income to have $120,000 per year. that would allow us to stop working full time and focus solely on the REIs. Currently Seeking: Properties in the Lehigh Valley, PA (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and surrounding areas) as well as Tampa, FL and surrounding areas. Properties in FL would have to be rentals. Working on several deals in northern NJ and Lehigh Valley PA (flips and rentals) exploring relationships with private lenders.
