My husband and accidentally fell into real estate investing in in 2008 when buying a condo right outside of NYC. Over the years it has had positive income the entire times its rented and has appreciated very well. In my limited education on REI I have through reading, blogs and podcasts…none of that is because of my strategic smart investing, my gut feel worked. Then in 2019, we purchased an investment property in Mammoth with one goal, we can use it a month per year and it paid for itself. Again, not the most strategic. Here we are now one year later and actively building a long term wealth building real estate plan. We are ready to move forward and focus on multifamily buy and hold units with opportunity for value add rehab. We are still in the process of finalizing our market. I have loved becoming part of BiggerPockets and listening to Brandon on his webinar and podcasts, and all their guest, is so inspiring. Now its time to Action…excited to join this community, learn and share my knowledge. Outside of Real Estate: I have been married 13 years, together almost 20, have 2 great kids (part of my why), was a D1 athlete at William and Mary many of years ago but still love being active and currently am an Global SVP of Sales at a company i have worked at for the last 14 years. Looking forward to taking this passion and effort i have displayed in every area of my life into real estate!
