I am RE investor by day and an IT guy by night. I did several ventures in Norther Virginia and Virginia Beach area. I dabbled in Cash Flow rentals, flipping, multi family, short term rentals (Airbnb), RTO, commercial retail/office space, property management, bit of lending etc. Owned some million dollar beach front properties and also some class C (Section8) and some in between. Been doing this since early 2000s and love it. I formed several LLCs and have been through a couple of complete life cycles in that regard, ie from inception to eventual closure. I am a RE junkie, when I see Ads of €1 Homes in Italy, I am itching to go. Now I hear similar news in Japan. Anyway, I would rather invest close to home, which is now South Florida. I am about to close on a 8plex. Will fill you in how that goes. In this context had to do a deep dive on 1031 exchanges, selling multiple properties under more than one LLCs and replacing with single property under another LLC. Interesting. Oh did I mention I am in IT, a software engineer by education and work experience. In my spare time I build some apps etc. Custom apps as well, as needed
