I'm a part-time real estate investor based out of Dallas. I got interested in passive income and financial independence some time ago and eventually discovered real estate as a means to achieve my financial goals. I don't consider real estate in general as "passive income": it's a business. And as a business, it can be as passive or as active as you make it. For me, it's all about the systems you create to streamline the whole process. I love real estate because I love working with people and solving problems. I believe that in a capitalist society, the way that you achieve wealth is to help and serve as many people as you can. Some people do this with their job, some people with their business. For me, I create value by providing clean and functional housing at a great price.
