Got started renting our casita out on AirBnB, my wife and I ran one of the highest-rated AirBnB listings in the City of Las Vegas from 2014 to 2020. We moved across the country to Carolina Beach to be closer to our self-storage partners, and house hack a beach house. As part of the team at Nomad Capital we buying and building self-storage facilities in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Georgia, and North Florida markets. We have a vertically integrated construction and management company that allows us to specialize in converting vacant big-box retail buildings to climate-controlled storage, providing excellent tax-advantaged returns for our investors. My partner Clint Harris host Truly Passive Income, a podcast for passive investors where we explore real estate, investment, and business strategies that have been proven to generate passive income. We dispel myths about what passive income really is with the goal of educating our listeners and creating a roadmap for you to follow to build your own Truly passive Income, and live a life with freedom of purpose. My wife and I hosted a weekly real estate investing podcast called The Road to Family Freedom where we interviewed experienced real estate investors about their chosen niche and strategies, with a focus on whether those strategies would work for busy people with families. We interviewed over 100 of the world's most successful real estate investors, including Joe Fairless, David Thompson, Scott Meyers, Michael Wagner, Ben Lapidus, Annie Dickerson, Julie Lam, Zeona McIntyre, Alex Felice and many others.
