About myself

I have done a lot of adventures in my life, so I am use to taking careful risks. I started out in the commercial lending department of First Interstate Bank, got frustrated at the bank culture, and turned to training dolphins becoming the Field Director for the Human Whale project for the University of Hawaii. After that I showed horses in Europe for a year, and returned to the Bay Area and reinvented myself as a computer engineer for Cisco Systems where I worked for 20 years and retired after 20 years per my plan. Now I am retired early and looking to invest in real estate after getting burned badly and realizing I had a good sense for finding deals, but didn't know much and was too busy with my stressful day job to take on anything else. I currently have two rental properties that both have two houses on them as separate units. I am the property manager of one rental that's close to me and hired a PM for the other one. I have a lot of experience with dealing with tenants learned the hard way! In 2011 I was negative in my net worth and all my properties underwater, now they are all making about 1500K a month in positive cash flow and have gone up greatly in value. I am pulling out some of the equity to invest in RE, now I just need to create my process and area to invest.
