Throughout my life, I've always made it a point to really listen to and trust myself in what I felt was right for me. I went to college at the University of Pittsburgh for a degree in Media & Professional Communications where I learned a lot about psychology, business, marketing, and how to use my creativity to generate money and results. Blah, blah, blah. Normally, people with this degree would wind up working for a 9-5 job (nothing wrong with that--I do that now) at a small marketing firm, for example; although that did seem like the easiest path, I was led in a direction to where I knew that wasn't my end-all-be-all. It was due to my best friend that I actualized the idea that I didn't want to work to fulfill someone else's dream--I wanted to chase my own. I want to travel, go to as many music festivals and concerts as I can, have time to learn new skills from gardening to unicycling, and I want to be able to first-hand experience my little brother (he's just under two) growing up. I want to be able to give my parents a good Christmas, and I want to be able to take my Gram to the Bahamas just to get her nails done with me (I know it sounds crazy, but we talk about it all the time). For all these things and more, I've gotten super invested in real estate investing, and there's absolutely no looking back. Here we go!
