Troy Silcox

I grew up in California and am still currently living there. I went to college and received a BS in Sports Management. I now have been a police officer for 14 years and that is my full time job. I am a part time real estate agent as well. I wish I would have been a student of real estate a lot earlier in my life. I was introduced to Bigger Pockets about 4 years ago to use as a resource. I became a Pro member only a couple of months ago (8/17). I have used this website to study and learn from everyone else here and I love the calculator tool. I am getting great use out of that and hoping I can land my first deal soon. I hope to educate my children about the fantastic opportunities that real estate provides and hopefully they are convinced of those opportunities. Experience: I only own the residence I currently live in. I am a license realtor, part time, in California and have been for a short time. Real Estate Goals: I am looking to build passive income to supplement my current income and then eventually retire. I want to be able to provide a promising future for my family through owning rental properties. I am in the beginning stages of this dream but I working hard to make it happen. I hope to leave a great legacy behind so that my children will have ample amount of opportunities to be successful. Currently Seeking: Buy and hold opportunities!
