I am currently an independent technology consultant and have been in the IT business since leaving the US Navy in 1999. The pay is great and thus very hard to give up. However, the older I get, the urge to control my own destiny pulls me harder into real estate. I have held a real estate salesperson license in Texas for 7 years but it began and remains more of a hobby than a dedicated business. I am hoping to learn from BP's community of experts how best to make a full transition.
