I am a mortgage & securitization finance attorney. I have seen mortgage loan and REO trading in the bulk secondary market but not at the individual property level. I'm looking to get involved in acquiring properties (initially multi-family, maybe small commercial) as a cash-flowing alternative asset in my investment portfolio. I am going to be partnering with one or more of my law partners, but am open to other options to.
