Paige A.

Hello! My husband and I are new to REI. We have two properties with a combined 5 units now. Our first purchase was a townhome in Raleigh, purchased this past February, and our second is a beautiful quad located in the historic downtown district in Tarboro, NC. We closed on that this month! I am very active in our local real estate investors association (TREIA) and am currently one of 13 participants in their pilot rehab program. This program is an immersive learning and investing experience where we go through every step of rehabbing a property, under the guidance of our awesome leaders, who are TREIA board members (one is a General Contractor/jack of all trades and the other is a local RE lawyer….both have extensive knowledge in RE investing and rehabbing). I am so happy to be a part of this group! It has been a wonderful experience and I would be happy to talk to anyone with questions regarding it. Just shoot me a message! In addition to the above, I am currently working towards getting my NC Broker’s License. Should have that completed (fingers crossed!) by early August. My husband and my investment plan, currently, is to continue buying single and multi-family homes. Both properties we've purchased were pretty much turnkey; however, I’d like to employ the BRRRR method to force as much equity as possible from the get-go. Regardless, we’ve gotten the ball rolling, and that’s a good thing! In regards to the future: I'm all over the board right now. I’d like to work up to purchasing larger multi-family properties; I'm also interested in property management as well as hard money lending. I am a hard worker and tend to dive into things with both feet. We’ll see where we go from here! I’m loving the process. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want to connect. Best of luck in your endeavors!!
