Hey everyone! My name is Pathik Parikh and I'm a New Jersey based real estate investor, along with 2 other members in our LLC. My goal is to build a portfolio of buy and hold properties that would be acquired through the BRRRR method. I'd love to connect with other investors in the area that can share their experience and advice. My WHY for getting into REI is to truly gain financial freedom for my family. I'm a first generation, first born of migrant parents and want to make sure they are taken care of as they head towards the older years of their life. I also want to make sure my future family will always be taken care of financially and that I can always be there for them during important moments in life. Getting away from a W2 lifestyle is critical for this. I've personally been working my entire career in Operations like Amazon, Iron Mountain, and start ups. Obviously this is super time consuming and demanding, all for someone else's objectives, but it's also helped me build disciplined systems and processes that I can incorporate in my REI business. I want to be my own boss, answer to my own ambitions, and set my own goals/objectives. My two other members of the LLC are actually my younger brother and brother in law. Fun fact -- the two of them were actually close friends before I ever met my wife (didn't meet her through them). Both of them are finance bankers so they also bring a methodical aspect of scrutinizing deals which can be used in our business as well. I'm always open to connecting with other investors that I can learn from or just chat it up with.
