I'm an investor out of Oklahoma, home to the best rose rock formations in the world, but now live in Kearney, MO. I love learning about and teaching financial education to people suffering from a lack of it in the mainstream education system. If one word describes me when in comes to investing and in personal finance, it's cash flow. Whether budgeting, saving, spending, investing, knowing where your money goes and taking control of that flow is the only way I know to truly live free! Experience: My real estate dream started with my own version of the debt snowball method. After graduating college, buying a car, and a house, I quickly learned that debt payments were zapping my monthly cashflow. I could pay for the things I wanted, because so much of my budget was overtaken by payments. So I applied the method, giving myself a "raise" each time I paid off a debt without increasing my income. When I ran out of debt to pay off, I decided to turn to passive investments. Dividend stocks just didn't appeal very much, and the cost of leveraging and margin calls were too much for me. So I settled on real estate. I currently own two businesses: Rose Rock Rentals, in which I own 3 great cashflowing properties, and Rose Rock Real Estate Solutions in which I rehab and sell properties so I can use the capital gains as downpayments for my rentals. I am currently working on my first two projects. Everything is about cashflow, and like dividend reinvestments, I reinvest the cash flow to pay off mortgages, further increasing my cash flow. Real Estate Goals: I enjoy the the process of marketing, rehabbing and selling houses. I would love to combine that with my passion for financial and investing education (Think Rich Dad, Poor Dad concepts) and build a turnkey rental business and share the great opportunity and wonder of cash flow to help my friends and loved ones achieve financial freedom! Currently Seeking: Connections with other investors to grow my body of knowledge in real estate to help build my turnkey company.
