Truthfully, a little late to the game in my opinion. I have owned 5 houses in my life. I house hacked in college. I converted a primary home to a rental. I have a lake house that I vacation rental, so I can afford to use it for free. And I recently put a mother in law apartment in my basement that I rent out on AirBnB. I am just starting my real rental property business and looking to buy my first property. I am a new dad and really looking to become financially free so I can hang out with my son more.
