I own a single rental property (condo) myself and have invested in fifteen apartment complexes as a limited partner, totaling over 1,500 doors. I am focusing primarily on multi-family residential, and am actively researching passive investment opportunities. Experience: When I relocated out of state, I decided to keep my home and rent it out rather than sell it. I've been a landlord for over ten years, but since I bought the place as a home (not an investment property) I did not consider cash flow and it hasn't been as lucrative as I would have liked. I began researching real estate investing to learn how to do it right, with the intention of acquiring more properties. When I came across the concept of passively investing in multi-family syndications, I decided that route suits me best, as I intend to keep my day job.
