I am an engineer graduating from the University of Michigan in May. I will be moving to Victoria, Texas in May as a full-time engineer and can't bear throwing away money into rent anymore. I'm looking to actively break into the Texas real estate investing community and network with other new and current real estate inspired people. I'm also looking in Victoria, TXfor a multifamily complex to buy, fix up, and rent out/live in or buy a single family home a fix-up to refinance to help get capital to start seriously investing. I'm looking to invest in the Texas Triangle (San Antonio, Houston, Austin) long term.
