I'm new to the San Antonio area and would like to start building a portfolio that will generate cash flow and allow me to retire from the military in 2-5 years. The goal is to generate $6K in monthly cashflow. I would like to invest locally, if possible and if numbers work. $300/mo per door would be ideal. Ideal properties would be SFH or duplex, 3 bed/2 bath, in B neighborhoods. I love to hear people’s “how I got started” stories. It’s very motivating and encouraging to know people before me have tried, failed, tried and tried again and have ultimately succeeded.
