I considered myself a stock guy focused on building wealth through stock investing. After multiple conversations with a friend and looking at the number I was convinced real-estate investing is good better to build wealth. The key variable I found was the widely acceptable business practice of using leverage to finance an investment, while in stocks this is not as acceptable & rather dangerous. I have a MS in Finance & passed the Level II of the CFA examination in 2013.
