A near death work accident changed my focus in life in 2014. I spent 4 years at home raising my two boys. Once the youngest was in school all day everyday it was time to scratch the entrepreneurial itch, and real estate was the avenue. I started with single family rentals, moved on to multifamily the next year and then on to commercial properties. Now I'm trying to share the wealth of real estate and have started a syndication company: GDL Capital. We are focused on buying value add retail strip malls throughout the midwest.
