Preston Quinn

Hey guys, my name is Preston Quinn. I’ve been involved in construction all my life. My grandfather was a builder and from the time I can remember I was on job sites cleaning up and learnIng to swIng a hammer. I absolutely LOVE construction work. Out of high school I decided to go straight to work for a local builder. I worked with him for a few years and moved on to several other builders and one commercial construction company. In 2009, the market crashed hard here in VA. I was laid off and decided to go back to school. Now, I am a machinist with a local manufacturing company. On the side, I continue to do construction work. I got hooked up with a real estate investor and started doing a lot of jobs for him on his flip houses over the last 3 years. He and I have become very close and he has in a way became a mentor to me. He tells me everything about his deals. Including purchase price, every dollar spent on the rehab, and every penny he has made and how much he has had to pay the IRS. He has done 9 houses in the last 3 years and has been very successful. This is his side business. Now in September, I have my first flip house under contract. I am super excited and a little nervous honestly. Anybody in the Lynchburg area, let’s get together and chat.
