Ralph Taylor

I began my real estate career back in 1974, focusing on sales, leasing and management. These early days were spent at Home Smith International, which is a Canadian land developer. I spent two years with their Hemlock Farms division selling home sites in their Pocono Mountains second home community. Over the next 14 years, I held positions in the New York real estate firms of Sutton & Towne, Newmark and Webb & Brooker, focusing on leasing store and office spaces. This experience was quite invaluable. Past Experiences While at Webb & Brooker, I managed 1825 Park Ave, an eleven story office building for the Franklin Savings Bank, which had taken the building by deed in lieu of foreclosure. Subsequently, I worked for the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation as manager of Restoration Plaza, a 300,000 square foot mixed use commercial center in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. While working as an independent real estate broker, I was certified as a 7a administrator by the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. The 7a program was established as a means of preserving housing stock in distressed areas. The 7a program allowed the housing court to take control of housing that was in danger of becoming abandoned and then appointed specially trained administrators to manage the properties until they were stabilized. Eventually, I was responsible for 6 apartment buildings through the 7a program, totaling 300 residential units and 4 stores
