I am 56 yrs old. Married for 30+ yrs. 6 kids. I own a residential roofing company that specializes in cedar shakes & roofs made of copper that I am trying to wind down. Looking to get out of the roofing business with some smart investing strategies. I have 5 projects wrapped up thus far, giving us 10 doors rented out at top dollar and one inherited tenant that is paying far too little (at 5 houses). All of our houses are in southern Ontario. Acted as the general contractor on all of the projects. Also, contemplating the development of 4-5 townhouses on a vacant lot that we own.
