I am a Real Estate Entrepreneur focused on buying non performing notes, with a mission to renovate these problem assets into Profitable Solutions for Lenders, Investors and hopefully the borrower. After doing fix and flips, the 3rd Act brand now buys and renovates non performing notes into profitable solutions. We invite investors of all kinds to participate with us in the renovation of distressed assets through our joint venture program. I began investing in real estate part time in 1990 when I began purchasing single family homes while paying my way through seminary. I bought, financed, rehabbed all my projects which enabled me to learn how to analysis deals. Prior to 1990 I spent numerous years on the mission field in a communist country. Upon returning to the U.S. and graduating from seminary I spent a couple of years at the Howard Hendricks Leadership Center followed by years in corporate american and later on various church staffs all the while investing part time. In our current business model as our team works with borrowers often we are able to renovate or modify their existing debt into something that is more manageable for the borrower. Once the loan is brought current and has been performing for a number of months we are able to sell the new performing note to another investor creating a 'win' for everyone involved. Ultimately everything we do under the banner of the '3rd Act' brand is to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of our calling as Christians to be instruments of hope in the midst of chaos that we all find ourselves in at times.
