2k19 was the year I finally became an investor! - First rental: 4plex purchased in October 2019 with lots of deferred maintenance. I am currently working on renovating the units to get them ready for renters. - Second rental: 4plex purchased in March 2020, which is almost identical to the first 4plex, except much more nicely maintains. The long-term plan is to update units slowly, but for now, I am just collecting rents. Both rentals (and my primary residence, which is kind of a "live-in" flip SFH) are south of Minneapolis. After I finish fixing up my residence and selling it, I'm contemplating trying a househack or another live-in flip - I'm going to see where opportunity (and the economy!) takes me. I'm very interested in real estate and finance topics, including investing, self-improvement, the FIRE movement, etc. I kind of tend to nerd out over these topics - and I just love hearing about the real estate/investing/business stories of others!
