Attended BPCon22 My last W2 job was as a server for applebees in spring 2014. I started working for myself and never looked back. Started a ground up retail business, purchased a retail business and then sold out in feb 2017. Started Airbnb’n two rooms out of my wifes house spring 2016 while we still lived in it. Bought my first renovation in spokane Washington in 2016. Went full time into real estate in 2018 after a 7 month south east Asia trip. Completed my first new build as a contractor in 2018(duplex) —> cash out refinance and duplicated the town home style duplex again finishing in 2019 spring. Financing has been by biggest problem since I haven’t had w2 income since 2014. Buying long term hold real estate since 2016.
