We fell in love in Fall of 2008. Real estate and me that is. I was young, working a 9-5 job and dreaming of my freedom while I watched marathons of Flip this House on Saturday mornings. I knew deep down inside that one day I would be doing what Than and Paul were doing on TV. Here we are years later and I can say that I made my dream a reality! My husband Fernando started our real estate journey when he listened to Robert Kiyoaski's CashFlow Quadrant. We took action and learned a lot the first years and then started implementing what we learned. We did our first flip in 2012 and by the end of that year I was able to quit my full time job and work with him. In 2013 we started our lease option/rent to own program where we put people that do not qualify for a mortgage today on a path to homeownership. This is the part of our business that is truly fulfilling, helping people get into homes that they are going to be purchasing in the near future. We worked hard in 2013, doing many flips and forming relationships with the people that we do business with today. To our surprise little did we know that all the hard work we were doing was really just setting us up for the surprise we received in 2014.....I was pregnant with our baby girl. She was born in 2015 and like every parent knows, life has not been the same. She is our little ray of sunshine! Because of real estate we have been blessed to be able to work at our pace and spend as much time with her as possible. After working in real estate for this long I've realized I still have so much to learn, but I also have a lot to give, that's why I'm happy to be part of the BiggerPockets community.
