I've had a full career in IT systems and project management, with some independent consulting. In addition, I enjoy doing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, electronics and mechanical work of all sorts. In our spare time, we enjoy camping, automobile racing, working on vintage automobiles, and travel. Experience: Red Rock Cayuga LLC -Co-Owner (Rental properties) I've been tangentially involved with Ithaca real estate for many years, with family members in the business, and at one point I maintained the local MLS computing system. We're familiar with most aspects of construction. We renovated our own house, then sold it and held a note on it. We then designed and contracted our current house as a new build, which now includes solar hot water and electric generation. We're now working on a path of quality buy & hold properties - we currently have a nice 2 unit rental, recently sold a large single family, and looking to invest in more local properties. Real Estate Goals: Long term buy & hold - quality single and multi-family rentals, possibly some flips, as well as other local sources of cash flow. Currently Seeking: Looking for local investment opportunities, including single and multi-family in northern Tompkins County, or turn-key managed properties. Buy and hold - investment return, rental income. Also looking for property managers and contractors to help with future expansion.
