Richard Heine

After grad school I moved to Breckenridge Colorado and lived a dream life for seventeen years mostly being a property manager and owned a construction company doing repairs and remodels. A season ski pass usually came with the jobs there. I was 21 and in charge of 143 units. That meant 143 owners, not renters. I bought a small piece of property before I left for 16K. Ten years later I sold it for 93k, moved to Minneapolis and married my beautiful girlfriend. I entered the computer programming world just before DR Dos lost out to Microsoft and big iron was still king. That all changed of course and demand for people with my new skills soared and helped me move up. Three moves and years later I have six kids and live in a Kansas City suburb where housing is affordable and the schools are phenomenal. I started my own online business called Equine Media World with my best friend in 2001. We are still number one in that equine sporting space and thriving. I love every day at work and get to spend maximum time with the family.
