I am a retired public sector employee who started investing in multi-family real estate with son, Brian, six-years ago. Brian's experiense was more extensive, as he had been buying and renting SFH's while living and working on the west coast. We currently share ownership of 118 units in the Grand Rapids and Lansing areas of Michigan. I live in the Detroit Metro area with my wife of 48-years, while Brian now lives in Grand Rapids with his wife and children.
