Robert Quinones

I originally got into real estate because my long-term goal was to become a real estate investor. I’m currently an active real estate agent, but one thing I realized pretty quickly is that having a real estate license teaches you the transaction side of the business—it doesn’t necessarily teach you how to be an investor. That’s the side of real estate I’m looking to grow in. I want to learn more about finding and evaluating distressed properties, off-market opportunities, creative deals, rehabs, rentals, and how experienced investors determine whether a deal actually makes sense. Being an agent gives me a useful perspective on property values, comps, contracts, and the retail market, but I’m joining this group primarily as a student of investing
