I am an investor. I invest in the stock market and real estate. In real estate, I invest primarily in SFR properties in Louisiana. I also have a real estate license in the state of LA. I am the co-founder of LFT-REX meetup group found on Meetup.com for the Lafayette, LA area (Acadiana Region). I am also the co-founder of BP Lake Charles meetup group. As a leader in the military, I mastered problem solving and setting people up for success. Those skills are highly applicable in the real estate business. Experience: I owned and managed properties alongside my military career for over twenty years. I retired from the military in December 2012 and I'm now a full-time investor. I fund my real estate deals with personal savings, assumed loans, commercial/portfolio lenders, conventional financing, private investors, hard money lenders, and using self-directed IRA funds. I buy properties from the MLS, REOs, wholesalers, off-market and at auctions. I'm a partner in a HomeVestors franchise in the Lafayette and Baton Rouge markets. We buy, sell and manage houses in a broad range of areas and price ranges.
