Back in the mid 2000's I learned so much about real estate. I was a loan officer, my best friend was and is still a full time Realtor. All my friends were appraisers, investors, Realtors etc. I was the guy at the party who could talk the talk but didn't walk the walk. I worked with people who would eventually end up in jail and probably more that should have. I eventually walked away from everything real estate for a variety of reasons. This has more to do with the morality of fractional reserve banking than anything else. I started listening to Bigger Pocket podcast around 2013-2014 I believe. It is the reason I started back into the real estate world. I struggle working with others. Don't take it personally, I'm simply judging you from my past experiences. My wife and I do a lot of skiing, boarding, hiking, biking etc The last several years we have started doing a lot more back country skiing. We own one of the "lost ski resorts" that we are actively fixing up and cutting new trails and ski runs. I would like to find other investors who are also into outdoor activities. Why? I had some projects I was working on pre covid. I believe it will take like minded people to get these done.
