I'm located in the St Louis area. I secretly dreamed of getting involved in real estate investing for about 10 years, but didn't feel I had enough experience or knowledge. So glad I found this site! I'm currently making a good salary in IT but would love to retire about ten years early! After a lot of research and education, I became interested in providing value to the private, individual investor. The school teacher who bought a duplex ten years ago and still isn't breaking even. Or the son and daughter who inherited the fourplex from their parents. I created a website for them called WeBuySmallMultifamilies. The goal of this site is to provide information the local investor can use to help them start turning a profit on their small multifamily. It's not the next BiggerPockets. More like a localized version of it. Maybe I can help them better understand some of the resources at their disposal. Who to contact in the area. How they can connect with other people just like them. Where they go for answers. If they don't have the time or desire to be landlords, I provide them with an option to sell their property at a fair price. We're also starting our "Renewal" company, where we revitalize old, outdated properties or perhaps sell our contracts on those properties to other investors.
