Ryan Heltemes

I originally was an electrician for the local union in Portland, but aspired to learn more in the engineering field. After passing the Oregon State Journeyman Exam, I started attending college at OSU cascades in Bend. I graduated in March of 2016 and currently work as an engineer for Eaton. My wife and I currently rent two houses and lived in one side of a duplex that we fixed up both side while living there for two years. Last year (2019) we purchased a five unit mobile home park, a 5 Plex, and a new home that has a separate building on the property that we are converting to an ADU. We are currently fixing up the main house and going through the permitting to finish the back building that was already permitted as living space. I currently manage all my own properties, and do all my own renovations. It might not be the most efficient way of doing things, but I like the process and learning how to maximize my rental income. I am always looking for new deals or reading books to become a better investor.
