I'm a former Navy pilot turned investor, financial advisor, author, and entrepreneur. In 2006 I bought my first primary residence in San Diego right before the subprime meltdown, and learned about real estate the hard way. Learning from that lesson, in 2017 I paid cash for my first investment property: a high-Cashflow 4plex in Ohio, which I sold 2.5 years later for a 44% net return (see "Investments" section for more details). Right now my investment goals are focused on building tax-efficient passive income and long-term capital growth. I’m currently seeking high-cashflow rental properties in strong but inexpensive markets I can pay cash for, with solid B or C class tenants, and appreciation as an added benefit. I am a financial advisor and personal coach, helping people combine practicality and purpose in building wealth.
