As an active duty military officer, I move around a lot. I accidentally fell into real estate investing in 2010 when my house in Knoxville didn’t sell. But it’s been rented consistently ever since. I only recently started to educate myself about the RE world. I now have six rental properties and hoping to acquire at least one per year (buy and hold) until I retire from the military (eight years or so). I love the community aspect of BiggerPockets— always learning!
