Recently moved back to Indy area after living in CA. I've been working for the same company for the last 6 years and, while the benefits and compensation are good, and although I'm living nicely below my means, I'm starting to realize my confidence and security blanket have a single point of failure - this job. In the computer networking world, where I currently work, redundancy is key. Robust networks have multiple points of redundancy to keep themselves alive during failures. I'm looking to, at first, add this type of redundancy to my income. I need to add some protection-paths to my income stream :D. My goal, though, is to grow these extra streams to where they can totally support me. I plan to grow these streams to a point where my "job" becomes optional. Also, I'm really excited about real estate because it gives me control. I'm excited to see what I can do and accomplish as a result of my own research, networking, relationships, effort, and more.
